BIRETA Professional Translations is a leader in the field of technical and specialist translations.

Our translation agency is looking for translators, interpreters, proofreaders and editors who work with accuracy and to a deadline, especially those who have experience in working on specialist and technical translations.

We would be particularly pleased to work with translators who have experience in working with SDL Trados. We are looking for translators to work both freelance and in-house.  We are offering work and payment on a flexible basis with a professional and friendly team.

We are looking for TECHNICAL TRANSLATORS and PROOFREADERS or LSPs
experienced in EN-DE translations services


OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSLATORS
  • University degree,
  • At least 2-3 years of documented work experience as a translator,
  • fluent in oral and written English and German with knowledge of technical terminology,
  • own SDL Trados license - necessary,
  • experience in translation and proofreading in at least one of the following fields: power engineering, construction, automation, electrical engineering, geology, aviation, environmental protection, mechanics, law, finance, economics,
  • experience in a large technical project - would be a plus,
  • excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
  • strong organizational skills,
  • ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR LSPs
  • Letter of recommendation, confirming 5 years of experience in translation in EN-DE translations,
  • relevant ISO standard certificates - would be a plus,
  • own SDL Trados license - necessary,
  • experience in translation and proofreading in at least one of the following fields: power engineering, construction, automation, electrical engineering, geology, aviation, environmental protection, mechanics, law, finance, economy,
  • experience in a large technical project would be a plus.
