In many industries, the holiday season means a slowdown. In Bireta, however, the summer months are usually extremely intense work. This year is no different.
At the beginning of July, we received information about another tender won. Bireta Professional Translations, in a consortium with POLOT members, Diuna and Iuridico, has been selected as the provider of translation services for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
In June and July, we also recorded a visible increase in translations on renewable energy. Renewable energy sources play an increasing role in our energy system. Installed photovoltaic capacity in Poland is breaking new records. Wind energy also has an increasing share in the energy mix. These trends also translate into our translation projects. We also received further recommendations from companies from the PV and wind energy sectors.
In recent months, we have also started translating for the Dolna Odra Power Plant expansion project. In the power plant located in Nowy Czarnów, Poland two new Combined Cycle Power Units will be built. Total capaxity of the units will be approximately 1400 MW and they will meet the most stringent emission requirements.
